| 5168 | 2000-06-19 10:15:00 | I recently installed a firewall to my PC out of curiosity. Image my surprise when it had blocked a total of twenty seven probes / requests to my computer in one sitting. 4 of them from PC World, 5 or 6 from Netscape Enterprise Server 4.0, 4 from AOL, and the rest from 'who the heck knows'. Other than the PC World site, I had never visited any them to my knowledge. I'd be interested in hearing comments from someone with knowledge in this area. |
