Big thanks to Simon for helping me out in my last post with my hard drive. I changed the CMOS settings, and now Windows will detect my 20GB hard drive in device manager, but I still can't use it in Windows Explorer (to transfer data, allocate virtual memory, etc..). I assume this is due to the fact that I haven't assigned a letter name to it. So I was wondering, how exactly do you do that? I went into Windows help, and it said to go into hard drive properties. I did this, but the on;y option is to tick 'Original Configuration'. Any solutions? |
