5150 2000-06-18 05:35:00 I have a Digital Pentium 100, 16MB Ram and 850 Hard Drive with no soundcard, modem or network card. It has Win98SE and Office 95 (stripped down) on it. It has been working fine but the other day, on bootup, it did not detect the hard disk or the cd rom and displayed 'operating system not found'. I can boot off a Dos 6.22 disk & a Win95 but it only sees the A:. When I boot off a 98 disk it just display funny characters in the DOS screen and I can't get to the A: let alone anywhere else. I'm not too sure what to try - I would greatly appreciate ANY suggestions you guys could offer - I'm a bit of a novice at all this. Guest (0)
