| 5241 | 2000-06-26 09:45:00 | While defragging in Win95 I notice a scattering of files marked 'Will not be moved'. I understand these could be hidden and/or read only files. Occasionally I have bumped into video or graphics files set to hidden or read only, and can then change their attribute to allow proper defragging. Is there any short cut to list all hidden and read only files? Windows Explorer does not seem to allow this sort of selection. Am I correct that changing these attributes will allow proper defragging? Are there any files that really need to remain exactly where they are on the disk? |
