| 5222 | 2000-06-25 05:56:00 | I'm compiling an archive of old out-of-print catalogues onto CDROM. I'd like to have an 'index' or 'start' page in html to load and display automatically when the cd is inserted (if autorun is on). I'd prefer that the *.htm pages I save will be opened by the users default browser so that the CD hs a similar feel to a homepage. I can see that the autorun.inf file is involved, I have tried siply entering the line 'autorun=index.htm' but this does not work. I know it's not hard, but can't find anything on the Web about how to do this, although th are lots of hits about making bootable CD's. Any assistance or links to related sites appreciated. Thanks, Steve. Wellington |
