| 5197 | 2000-06-21 12:45:00 | problems with my HP USB scanner resulted in HP tech support suggesting checking irq conflicts with my USB host controller. Although there are no! marks next to any devices, they have said if the irq (in this case 10) has more than 2 devices, I have irq sharing. There are 3 devices on irq 10,creative ensoniq audio pci, intel 8237/ab/eb pci to USB universal host controller & irq holder for pci steering. The latter also appears on irq 11. My question, is this a sharing problem even though windows reports no sharing problem, if so, how do I fix it? Any info greatly appreciated. (running 333 PII 64mb win 98 2 USB devices, joystick & scanner) |
