I recently had to disconnect my floppy disk drive to install a cpu fan.
When I rebooted windows instead of it being a 3 1\2 inch floppy it says it's a 5 1\2 inch floppy and wont read from it . I have tried reconnecting it. And in system under control pannel i have removed the floppy disk drive controller then used add new hardware. to re-install it. It reconises there's a floppy and adds the floppy disk controller, but it still thinks it a 5 1/2 inch. I cant get into the BIOS as the BIOS is a phenox emmbeded 486 type and help would be appreciated. |
