Recently I installed my old 1.2Gb hard drive in a mobile carrier to act as a backup device. My main HDD is 6.4Gb, and as it was installed under Win95 had to be partitioned. I like it that way as I have separate partitions for programs and data. I now use Win98. Before I installed the 2nd HDD I had C,D,&E. The 2nd HDD was named D, so that the main HDD is C,E,&F. When I remove the 2nd HDD the OS doesn't like it at boot up and reverts to the old naming. I would like to call the Main HDD C,D,E and the removable one F. Is this possible, and if so how? |
