hello there, i was hoping someone out there could help me. I have win 98 (first edition) which comes with IE4 and OE4. I downloaded the upgrade to IE5 and OE5, all went well with the download and i used IE5 and OE5 for about 6 months, then one day OE5 stopped working. When you click on the icon it sounds like it is loading then it just stops and nothing comes up. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times but that doesnt work. I am still using IE5 without any probs though.Nortons utilities hasnt come up with any probs and the windows system file checker came up with no errors either. I have checked out the shortcut and it points in the right direction, so i dont know where else to go. Using OE4 is painful when you are used to OE5..PLEASE HELP!!! |
