5335	2000-07-04 00:19:00	I have been using a 14.4 isa connected modem for several months now. I decided it was time to update. I purchased a new Dlink 56K modem which is pci connected. I cant get it to access the net. It brings up the error message 'unable to get dial tone'. My new modem works fine in a friends machine and his modem brings up the same error in my Pc. Doing a diagnostic check on the modem shows no conflicts if I havnt tried to use the modem after rebooting. If I try the modem and then try a diagnostic I get a message that the modem is in use and cant be tested. I am running win98 on a P200mmx. Any ideas please?	Guest (0)
