| 5380 | 2000-07-07 00:52:00 | I have just read Mitt Jone's article about PC based faxing in the Dec/Jan PC World which I have found very helpful. Setting up a fax on my PC has become something of a marathon including some hours browsing the net for answers then trying to follow instructions for setting up for Windows 98 faxing, so Mitts article was an answer to prayer. I have successfully set up the fax which will send but not recieve properly. Incoming faxes dial in ok, but will not go beyond that and physically print the fax to my PC. Do they automatically go to the PC or to the printer as I have no printer at the moment? I have Faxability set up giving me a dedicated fax number. Fax calls also seem to interfere with our call minder on our main number by not letting calls go to the call minder and being picked up by the fax. Any suggestions?? |
