| 5404 | 2000-07-09 03:04:00 | This one really perplexes me :-( As of 4 days ago I could no longer browse to www.bankdirect.co.nz BankDirect advised the service is available with no problems reported. I called CLEAR who said they could browse to this site no probs. The IP address they get from their DNS is different from mine (same DNS???) I pinged my address of '210.55.235.75' and get timed out. A tracert did the same. BankDirect have not made any changes/changed service providers etc since January. If I try to browse to the IP address provided by CLEAR I get part of the home page but can't link anywhere as the old IP is used. I tested my login from another machine on i4free and it works fine. I tried i4free from this problem machine and same problem again. I tried Netscape and downgraded IE5.5 to 5.0 and no change. Also tried removing IP stack and adding again, all cookies and temp files removed. All other apps shut down including ZoneAlarm :-) Is it a Naming problem or local problem?? Sounds local still. |
