1265391 2012-03-16 04:18:00 Hi

I'm running Internet Explorer 9 and have Google as my home page. Lately something has started automatically inserting an "s" when I key in (or copy and paste) a web address. For example, I might enter www.blabla.co.nz and the "s" gets inserted to make it https Then, of course, I can't access the site. This is happening to sites I've visited before, as well as to newly visited sites.

FYI, most of these sites don't contain secure sections.

Why is it doing this and how do I stop it?

Thanks

1265393 2012-03-16 04:57:00 Thanks Speedy Gonzales. I had to Google what 'reset' was and how to do it :-)

I had a go and it changed my Google home page to something called iGoogle. So I didn't accept the change as I prefer to keep my Google's appearance as it currently is. Do I have to accept iGoogle in order to get rid of the pesky "s" in the urls? Sorry - I realise this is a really, really dumb and basic question to be asking!
