Looks good. CMRR Secure Erase is free and the size is only 833.4kb "It has been proven to be effective at securely erasing Hard Drives leaving them useless for forensic examiners or thieves to recover any data even with the most advanced data recovery tools, their is no need for Overkill, Overkill is a complete waist of time.Secure Erase overwrites every single track on the hard drive. That includes the data on bad blocks, the data left at the end of partly overwritten blocks, directories, everything. There is no data recovery from Secure Erase." cmrr.ucsd.edu |
