2012-03-13 04:59:00 | My 500watt Enermac Galaxy won't handle it. On the cards box it says I need 550watts min. Most of the good PSUs at Ascent are out of stock. Is this one any good. www.ascent.co.nz Thanks for your input. This is becoming an expensive exercise. Enermac seem to make only 3 PSUs now. Thanks. :)

2012-03-13 05:49:00 | Agreed. Corsair. Get a TX650 which is modular or TX550. BTW. It's Enermax!!

2012-03-13 06:31:00 | So this www.ascent.co.nz should be alright as the min. for my new card is 550 watts. :)

2012-03-13 07:14:00 | Should work fine!! I originally suggested the TX650 to allow for expansion. Being modular it will allow you to only plug in what is needed rather than looping spare cables around.

2012-03-13 08:49:00 | You are best going for a 650w psu. The more headroom the better. Even running 10w under can create problems. And yeah modular psu's are a god send. | Slankydudl (16687) | |
2012-03-13 08:51:00 | My friend has a TX650, it barely passes as modular imo. Why is it only barely passing for modular?
