On his way to work this morning in the Wellington traffic, a public servant came to a dead halt at the end of a long queue of cars and thought to himself, "this is unusual." He noticed a traffic policeman walking slowly down between the lines of stopped cars, so when the officer came alongside, he rolled down his window and asked, "Officer, what's the hold-up?"

The officer replied, "It's the Prime Minister. John Key is depressed, so he stopped his motorcade in the Mount Victoria tunnel and is threatening to fill his BMW with petrol and set himself on fire.

He is upset about the public reaction to his Leaders' debate with Phil Goff last night says no one believes his election promises, they think he's smarmy, they don't believe that asset sales will give diddly squat to our schools and he's sick to death of oil spills, three-way handshake jokes, Hone's @#$*! party, and Lockwood Smith spoiling his fun, then to cap it all, Happy Feet ran out on him and the people in Tauranga are blaming him for the Rena grounding as well and they are all voting for Winston!

So, we're taking up a collection for him."

The public servant asks, "How much have you got so far?"

The officer replies, "About 200 litres, but a lot of people are still siphoning.

Cheers

Clearly they haven't taxed petrol enough if we can still afford to burn the buggers this way.
