1240408 2011-10-29 01:12:00 LOL - my son went and bought this today. Got it home and now tells me I need to upgrade the PC!!! ****!

It's a Dual Core 2.5 with 2GB RAM and an nVidia GeForce 8400GS video card running Win7 Home Premium 32bit.

More than meets the 'minimum' requirements, but I see the 'recommended' requirements are Windows 7 64-Bit, Quad-Core CPU, 4 GB RAM and either NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 560 or ATI RADEON 6950.

I have to admit I have no idea where the 8400GS card sits in relation to the GTX 650....

But I'm buggered if I'm going to upgrade a perfectly good PC!

Anyone know if it will run on my PC specs?

1240409 2011-10-29 01:14:00 EA is well known for their bad support. Origin is well known for being crappy in general. EA bosses are known for treating their employees like crap, one guy killed himself over workplace conditions.
I'm constantly hearing about EA support. I've never ever heard any good experiences with them.

1240410 2011-10-29 01:22:00 No you won't be able to. 9800Gt's will barely run it. Your cpu should be good enough though. icow (15313)

1240413 2011-10-29 02:57:00 I did the thing in the above link, and its compatible with 8800's and up. Meh, i aint worried too much. I just want them to damn well fix the "matchmaking error 3" on Battlefield Play4Free so i can damn well play it with my new setup. goodiesguy (15316)

1240416 2011-10-29 04:32:00 Your PC's NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 512 is below the game's recommended specifications.

The recommended GPU to enjoy Battlefield 3 is a GeForce GTX 560 or higher (the minimum specification is a GeForce 8800/9800 GT). Check below to see some upgrade options. To see other system requirements for Battlefield 3, please click here.

1240417 2011-10-30 18:13:00 I have been playing for 3 days straight. The graphics are outstanding along with the sound.
Only problem I have is that some keys are hard coded.I use QWES when most people use the default WASD.The Q is mapped to on screen commands and E is to enter, exit things.
I looked in the forums and found a solution but it's slightly annoying that you can't change all keys.
Servers are still a little laggy but they are with all new games.
I tried to max out all the settings and got major freezing so I run them on high with no problems.
My specs are i5,4GB Ram,GTX 460's in SLI.But it will run 1 card on medium settings with about 40 fps.
