She had previously spent many years actively trying to help the dregs of society. Not just talking about it. Rather than those who went straight from Uni (or after teaching) to Parliament (Sorta) or straight from Cushy lifestyle to parliament At least Keys worked his was up from nothing . So he has 1st hand experience of the struggles, but may have forgotten by now ?? I do have issue where a households combined benefits far exceed the take home wage of many workers. Or using benefits to pay for trips to Aus (someone I know) . When those on more than $40k+ salary can still get legit govt handouts, something is very very wrong with the system. |
