| 1265147 | 2012-03-15 04:07:00 | I have Word 2007 and am unable to delete or unpin the list of documents I have written which appear on the rt. pane after clicking the office button. The documents have all been transferred to folders so it is the list itself I would like to delete. Is anyone able to help please? LL |

| 1265150 | 2012-03-15 05:50:00 | Use ccleaner The question was really from a friend who does not have ccleaner on their computer. ( I have been trying to educate people to use it for the past 6 years!) Does that work for those recent items things in Word? LL |

However, if you select the op[tion for the programme to show nil/zero documents then it will dlete the list automatically. The following might be easier for your friend than using a cleaner, and it is part of Word. At the Office Button, select the Word Options. In the left pane, select Advanced. Scroll down to Display and at "Show number of Recent Documents" select zero and OK. The list will be removed immediately. Don't forget, if you wish a list to be maintained later, and it can be very useful at times, follow the same and select the desired number. |
