| 1240441 | 2011-10-28 03:24:00 | <shudder> Firefox users who are Bing enthusiasts can use Firefox with Bing to use the Web the way they want without having to take extra steps to navigate or customize their settings to Bing . You can also download the Bing Search for Firefox Add-on . In both cases, what youll get is Firefox 7 . 01 set with Bing as your homepage and default search engine . Of course, you could set it up that way by yourself . It would takewhat?twenty seconds . Still, you can now get official Evil Empire Firefox . What Microsoft gets out of itbesides tempting Mozilla over to the dark sideis a chance to try to get more people to use Bing . Since Bings chunk of the search market has been declining recently to Google and Bing and Microsofts other online services are a financial wreck ----------------- wait for it ------ here it comes:::: Microsoft also needs any help it can get from Mozilla . :waughh: |

Bad underscoring on my behalf. It should look like this::: Since Bing’s chunk of the search market has been declining recently to Google and Bing and Microsoft’s other online services are a financial wreck |

This is a common thing for MS, it was especially bad when they released Windows 7... :p What ? ? ? - - Oh, that's right, you liked Vista too ? ? :D :D The man has a point pc. :p I find Bing very useful for finding old copies of the websites I want to find, and websites i don't want to find.. so no use at all actually. :D |

| 1240447 | 2011-10-28 04:08:00 | Might be why Microsoft has been pursuing royalties. I just read yesterday from NY or LA times, that Microsoft are still collecting IP payments from hardware companies with the Android and Chrome (The OS system portion), Compal Electronics being the latest to pay royalties. It seems the more Androids/Chrome, and their hardware suppliers, the more for Microsoft as well as Google. | kahawai chaser (3545) | ||
