My students are using Netscape Composer (ver 4.xx) to write web pages. They use W95 workstations and save all files to a NT server. We are having a problem with images. The students create GIF files, save and insert these on to their page. When they open their page the following day the image has been replaced by a place holder and the image file, while still having a name, has no size. The image cannot be opened in the graphics software because it has ceased to exist? This problem occurs on about 1/3 of 20 machines. I've tried reinstalling Netscape with limited success.
