In response to Robert Peart's question regarding this in the July issue of PC World, I had a similar problem and discovered that my Ratings.pol was corrupted. I checked my Windows\System folder and renamed the Ratings.pol file to Ratings.old. I started IE, clicked Ok to the error message, and typed in the Supervisor password in the Content Advisor area of the Internet Options window and it worked great. No more pesky error messages. I found this all about by searching the Microsoft Knowledge Base using the error message as the search criteria and it came up straight away. Bingo!
