| 5649 | 2000-07-31 12:34:00 | Can anyone tell me if it is possible to write an excel formula to achieve the following result. I have a workbook with 2 sheets. Sheet one has a pricing matrix. This matrix contains prices of louvre door components. The price depends on how many louvres are required and the length of them. So I have listed in column A the numbers of the louvre blades from 1 to 30. So A1 is, A2 is 2, A3 is 3, and so on. In row 1 are the length measurements, B1 is 100mm to 200mm, C1 is 200 to 300, D1 is 300 to 400 etc. On sheet two I calculate the length of the blades and how many are required. So in cells B24 and B25 I list the No. of blades and the final length of the blades respectively. Is it possible to get Excel yto look up the price on sheet 1 and put it in B26 on sheet 2?? Any help on this one would be much appreciated Many thanks John Robb |
