| 5636 | 2000-07-31 00:05:00 | My PC Direct 565ti has been displaying the following message on bootup as it goes through the BIOS 'Floppy disk(s) fail (40)'. I take it that the '(40)' indicates a particular type of failure. What does it mean? When I ignore the message, by pressing the F1 key still I have, I still seem to be able to read and write to floppy disks okay. The failure indication was intermittent at first but now occurs on every bootup. | Guest (0) | ||
