| 5632 | 2000-07-30 10:50:00 | I'm installing a CDRom drive on a pentium 100 with win95 on it.(network version) Wanted to get CD working before formatting etc(thanks Steve Askew for previous info). Problem is driver SEEMS to install ok ( new folder with driver & entries in config.sys & autoexec,bat) but the comp hangs on the entry in the config.sys file?? Any ideas?? The windows setup is a little odd too, as you can only access the Device Manager under safe mode and the startbutton stays below the bottom level of the screen out of mouse reach and is only accessable through key presse. Any help appreciated. |
