| 5624 | 2000-07-29 22:11:00 | XL how to count # of names in columns. I have a spreadsheet in which column A has 1500 enteries, like John Smith, next cell Mary Cousins etc. How do I count the number of cells with, say John in them in the range. XL does seam to be able to count specific test within a cell, is formula to do this? Cheers?.John jhw@xtra.co.nz |
