| 5617 | 2000-07-29 08:03:00 | Hi!, I need a system backup solution with my parallel port CD-writer + normal internal CD-ROM. I run win2k with the NT FAT system. I could backup to my CD-R discs and access through normal CD-ROM. My question is how can I do this?? I have Norton Ghost but how can I write directly to a CD-R disc?? Can I do this in win2k (I think can only be done in DOS??) Can I write cd with directCDinstalled in other words would Ghost let directCD work?? IF THIS WORK SWEET. But IF not. What other s/w is avail such as backup s/w that can write direct to a cd-r disc (with directCD installed). Then I can boot with system disk and run disc off my normal CD-ROM and restore WITHOUT installing windows ... Raymond |
