| 5788 | 2000-08-08 07:56:00 | Is there a reason why i cant map my mates shared folder into one drive, confusing? Yes, ill try explain better. I want to map my mates drive, he has a number of shared folders. But i cant seem to map the root(namely his computer name) When i go to map drive it lets me select the lcoal drive for it so i choose 'g:\' now it lets me select which folder to map, but i wanna do his drive not a foler in his drive that he has shared. Is this possable to do without maiking a shortcut to his computer name. If you dont understand what im saying, i dont know how to explain this better:) sorry:( Im in win98se |
