| 5746 | 2000-08-06 06:24:00 | On attempting to perform maintenance, neither scandisk nor defrag work. All resident applications have been turned off/exited (tool bars, virus checkers, task managers, screen savers etc etc). On attempting to run one of the maintenance utilities, the hard drive just grinds away...and nothing happens. I've let it just grind on for up to an hour...to no avail. OS is Win 98 SE + IE 5. Running a PII 350 with 128 MB RAM, Matrox Millenium 2 with 8MB of RAM. | Guest (0) | ||
