| 5812 | 2000-08-09 09:47:00 | I have a HP Pavilion, 200 Pentuim,32 Mg Ram and a 2.5 Gig HD. Lately whenever I start my computer it wants to run scandisc. This happens everytime now, not just after a bad shutdown. Not only that it always wants to do a surface scan, it never used to. Scandisc doesn't find any problems or bad sectors. Does this sound like a disc problem or could it be something else? Generally everything else seems to be running alright, I am just strating to get nevous that one day the hard drive will die altogether. Any help would be much apprieciated. Regards Jeff B |
