i am running win98se with internet explorer 5.01.Widows updates were fine, till I decided to download 5.5. Then my problems started.Windows update says 'your security settings prohibit running Active x controls on this page.As a result, the page may not display correctly'. I have checked my security settings and they were on medium, now on low.I also have deleted 5.5 back to 5.01, but I still get the same meesage.How do I go about solving this problem so I can get the updates. Every else on the browser seems to be working ok |
