| 6033 | 2000-08-27 22:49:00 | Hi, I want to reinstall Windows 95. As I have completely erased my files, I am left with some remaining in c drive. I can install as so far! But am stopped, because I needed an upgraded version to overwrite so Windows95 can install in my computer. It is telling me to search for a location where Microsoft can verify me as a legal owner. But the problem is when I brought the computer preinstalled without any disks of Windows3.1, I purchased an upgrade some years back and installed Windows 95. Now, I have no windows to upgrade or overwite so I can install? Are there any tricks I can do? What files should I have at the C:\prompt? Am I stuck? |
