1266329 2012-03-22 03:53:00 I ordered ink cartridges from Notebook City as a result of a sales call offering them on special but the incorrect type were delivered. Although I was finally given an RMA and returned the items several weeks ago there has been no replacement.

I've faxed (had to use Finda to find that number), phoned, tried the cell phone for Adrian Abrate (Customer Service Manager) and repeated emails but no answer to any of them.

Is this business reputable at all?

1266334 2012-03-22 05:09:00 They dont even show on the companies office register ---- dodgy sounding ?? wainuitech (129)
1266335 2012-03-22 05:44:00 I've used them several times in 2008 and 2009 - they were fine. The guys there were helpful - they used to have a phone number listed as recall having phoned them before to ask about the status of an item which was on backorder.

Their actual company name is something else (Principal IT Services Ltd) - just trading as "Notebook City", hence why you won't find them in the companies register.

1266336 2012-03-22 08:32:00 In the handful of experiences I've had with them, they're genuine but slow and painful to deal with, and once you've bought form them they'll periodically phone you and harass you about specials. inphinity (7274)
1266337 2012-03-22 09:42:00 Thanks - looks like they still exist but are actually very small, despite the bountiful advertising and assurances while "on hold". I bought a small computer part a few years ago and that was a good transaction. Then, as above, much later a few sales calls to offer specials.

They are listed here in the Companies Office (www.business.govt.nz).

Some more information here (scambusters.co.nz) too.

With all due respect, you should probably get Internet banking or something then, it's very convenient.
