1265735 2012-03-18 21:52:00 Good Morning People,

I suddenly (overnight) have no sound from my computer speakers when trying to watch a youtube clip.
Works alright when i stream a radio station or play a track from my hard drive.
Any ideas how to repair this would be appreciated.

Otherwise all is good.

Cheers*

1265736 2012-03-19 00:24:00 Has anything installed ( updates etc) and what browser ?

You can always try running system restore back to when it was going, sometimes that works in undoing what ever was changed.

haven't installed anything over the past 24hours, may have had an automatic update, but am usually notified they're waiting to be installed.
My browser is firefox. Can this make a diffrence?

1265739 2012-03-19 02:55:00 this recent thread pressf1.pcworld.co.nz sounds like the same problem, there might be some clues in there.
Unfortunately the OP in that thread didn't tell us what it was in the end, if you read the thread you'll see what happened.
