1242441 2011-11-08 03:28:00 Yes - I'm still here - at least until the 18th of November .

We had a very cold night last night - 3ºF below freezing which is some Sillimetric number I don't know - figger water frozen -3ºF and you can get a decent idea .

Anyway - I am going to be outta here on the 18th like I said and two days hauling a load to Montana and two days of unloading and then I have to take a bus to here again and pick up vehicle #3 and drive it back to Montana .

The Fox, The Goose & The Bag Of Corn-type troubles .

Youse guys see about the EQs in Oklahoma? They haven't had any of them for a coon's age they say . Interesting .

The doctor who killed Michael Jackson was found guilty and went to jail, pending appeals of course .

Lots of little tidbits - Oh and we changed our clocks BACK this past weekend . When will the clock get to 10PM? I can't stay up that long!

I'm suffering bass player's withdrawal - all my gear is packed and my fingers are itching to get on some strings! Gack!

Well - I got our phone turned on in Montana and it goes off here on the 20th - same with our cable TV .

Not much else to tell - we're tired of all the boxes and packing - but it's all for a good cause . Fresh Air that I can actually breathe!

Stay healthy all .

1242442 2011-11-08 03:45:00 That's -1 1/2 of useful degrees, approximately. Will your F' degrees continue to afflict you in Montana? It actually did get that low here one early morning during the winter, fortunately that is past us for a while although some of the Southerners just demonstrated how hardy they are by having snow - seems a bit flamboyant to me. Remember to bring your chocolate fish in at night, or they will be very slow eating in the early morning hours. Perhaps you could get the jacko doc to go over and treat a few fracking oil company executives to sort out those shaky Okies? R2x1 (4628)
1242443 2011-11-08 04:16:00 Hm. Maybe so - the frackers, that is.

I think I'll get a few head of beef for food next spring. There's elk and venison in the local markets for a decent price too.

Thankfully winter is almost starting to change over to spring - in a few months anyway. I've got my thermals and snow boots with electric heaters in them and gloves and hats and all sorts of cold gear already.

I'm really looking forward to this move - it may be my last so I'll milk it for all I can.

Got a heated chicken coop for about 100 birds on the property too - and I know I'll get some nice hardy Jersey Giants or Cochins that can winter over when it comes next spring too.
