I can assure you it is not illegal to photocopy or scan your drivers license when asked to provide it as photo ID . So tried to activate another account from a differant address through a family member who never had a TM account and got another email this time claiming not in the country and the address does not exist . . . . . 1242158	2011-11-05 23:27:00	Yep, i got mine hijacked by a hacker Received an email that i had changed my password and couldnt get in to it anymore So i contacted them and yes the hacker from some european country apparently hacks them all the time and they cant do anything about it LOL So i asked them to delete my account and i would make a new one with the same email address, but no they are not allowed to delete the accounts ??? WTF In the end i had to get a new email address so i could make a new account because you cant use the one email address for more than one account	Gobe1 (6290)

1242161	2011-11-06 00:01:00	and apparently you can not have two accounts listed to the same physical address which is kind of stupid when people move houses or you have short term renters etc. Tried today to register another account and looks like they have either locked themselves down to new accounts or blocked the IP provider (slingshite) from registering new accounts. Either that or they have a massive security issue they want to keep quite and not being able to access their messegeboard who knows. I got to admit though I do draw issue to having to provide my driving licence or passport details to prove who I am to them.	driver (16592)

1242163	2011-11-06 00:56:00	Been down that road with Trademe in the past and this is where they are inconsistant . You wait until someone realises that there are two accounts being operated from the same house the advice was given was to blacklist the other account . That in turn causes another can of worms . I have this feeling that is what has happened someone has been squelling to TM probably as a result of a post on the Messegeboard or someone in TM has been nosing through the records and seen a dead account to this address and just shot with the hip and shouted high five I found a duel account . How many times has a CSR written notes on one of your manny billing accounts and whats written been interpreted differant by someone else? Except with Trademe they seem to think they are God and Jury with the decisons and like the responses I got wont explain why the decison was made or provide evidence . It is interesting they claim nearly 4 million members in a country of just over 4 million yet they let Aussies be members as well . No wonder there is fraud!	driver (16592)
