He said coverage of the election in October and November will mean the schedule change will remain in place for Coronation Street and "a number of other primetime shows" for that period. "Mindful of the need to provide regular access for Coronation Street viewers, the programme will be scheduled weekdays at 5:30pm on TV ONE; an extra half-hour each week. So what CONFIDENTIAL is, is a euphemism for what TV One really has got planned for us: The Election frissons having passed into oblivion for the next three years - like ACT, the Labour Party, and (let's pray) Hone's Party - we're now in to the Silly Season with endless re-runs of British housing DIY cock ups, pathetic British real estate agents, and horrible pommy tourists on the continent. Then, 2 - 3 days before Christmas Day more cooking shows on how to prepare for the feast, even though most households who can afford a feast would have planned and completed their purchases by then. More re-runs on Xmas Day of Mr Bean's "The Plank". And then, more re-runs of - guess what - cooking shows :clap |
