Chances are its a dumb charger, so it wont be able to detect when the batts are fully charged . However Nicad's are more robust than more modern rechargeables, I guess that why they are still used. btw, dont assume that fully discharging batts is the way to do things. Its the fastest way to permanently ruin some type of batts . |

| 1242247 | 2011-11-07 10:14:00 | A simple way is to divide the capacity by 10 and charge at that rate for 14 hours, so 1.2AH = 120 mA for 14H, if you charge at a higher rate reduce the time proprtionately. 350mA would be approx a 3rd of the time so 4-5 hours, except the higher current probably means it's a little less. Another even simpler thing to check, fully charged NiCads get warm, when overcharged they get hot. So if it's warm turn it off. |
