1241802 2011-11-04 06:17:00 Did you know that "Gullible" isn't in the Oxford English Dictionary?

Well I never!
Cicero (40)
1241803 2011-11-04 06:28:00 Do you mean with respect to the financial crisis affecting millions of lives?

Everything.

You won't find a time in history where people weren't at war, starving, dieing, suffering, being wiped put by disease and generally finding things hard, hence parties were invented.

1241804 2011-11-04 06:39:00 Ah well.

Thought some of the sentiments had some merit.

Do try to be positive lads.

Yes Captain Mainwaring Sir. Don't like it up 'em, do they?

Perhaps you could explain that to someone who has just been kicked out of their house, or have just been shot to death in Syria.

Or do you mean Kiwis only.?

I'm talking on a global scale, Life is and has always been short and rough for many many people.

In the past 100 years we have had unprecedented progress in health, welfare, education, entertainment, we live longer, we are smarter and we don't have to work as hard.

The complaints in the original text are coming from someone in the most privileged country in the world, it is pathetic.

1241808 2011-11-04 18:47:00 I'm tired of being told the government will take
the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy
to earn it.

I'm tired of being told that Islam is a "Religion of Peace," of Muslims mutilating the
genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur'an tells them to.

I'm tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global
warming, which no one is allowed to debate.

I'm also tired and fed up with seeing young men and women in their teens and
early 20's be-deck them selves in tattoos and face studs, thereby making
themselves un-employable and claiming money from the Government.
.
Moans about tax huh?

The Koran does not say anything about that practice, nor wearing the long robes or whatever actually.
As with that other crazy religion - Christians - there are different groups in it, all who have their own ideas about how things should be.

Ban all religion.

Well if the population keeps on increasing at this rate, expect a downgrade in living standards - especially in the US where people have been consuming most of the worlds resources.

Dislikes current fashion trends too, well that sort of comment has been going on all through history. Look at the horror of the previous generation when woman ditched the corsets and long dresses and started wearing short hair and knee length dresses. Shocking.

Also the Koran says (apparently) if you are a muslim living in a non muslim country you must move to a muslim country..... they certainly dont follow their bible to the letter, just the good parts
