So, that dude is smarter then me. Tragic. Then factor in the constant hardware changes and software updates that designed to stop all these apps working and its a massive massive fail. |

No offense taken, I was straight to the PC when it failed to play, then spent a number of frustrating hours trying to get it to work, then a few more frustrating hours trying to get the guitar to work through the PC. |

Looks just like GH except with a real guitar.. www.youtube.com Also why did you need to buy an electric guitar? Did you not have one? Assuming you can plug any electric guitar in, you'd be better to get a decent one. |

| 1241679 | 2011-11-03 20:48:00 | At the risk of further wife wrath perhaps keep an eye out for a pre modded 2nd hand XBOX at a reasonable price, Ive seen them on trademe from time to time (I think). After destroying a brand new sony playstation ( the original model ) attempting to mod it I vowed never to try it again. I was going fine until the last connection. It seems a gas soldering Iron is too hot for tacking a wire to the end of a surface mounted resistor, it happily picked it up off the board stuck to the surface of the iron to my (manly) cries of anguish. I hastly scraped it off and attempted to reattach it but alas, things just got worse. I sold it to a friend for $50 in the end (he wanted the laser) and bought a second hand one to replace it, something of a blow to my ego as a technician and lesson learnt. After that I reccomend letting someone else take the risks and getting a working already modded one. Look on the bright side of all this, you may be out of pocket and facing the dog box but you managed to put a grin on some of our faces with the entertaining story :) |
