1266218	2012-03-21 08:23:00	Hi everyone, My parent's computer has been giving a bsod a number of times already in the last few days, so I downloaded BlueScreenView and it came up with the data in the log I've attached (no idea what it all means - looks like problems with the usb ports? The last time it crashed the very moment when my old man plugged the usb camera in, we thought maybe it was just coincidence that the computer crashed at that exact moment but judging by the log, perhaps not?). 1266221	2012-03-21 08:44:00	Looks like the audio drivers are crashing uninstall them. And see if there's a later version on the manufacturer's site. Is XP up to date? That 0x00000024 stop error doesnt sound good. This is usually hdd related. It maybe corrupt / dying / may have to be replaced. .	Speedy Gonzales (78)
1266222	2012-03-23 10:31:00	Ok yea I'll get rid of those audio drivers when I go there next. Yea he told me after having the mobo fixed recently (it had blown all it's capacitors), that the guy recommended to replace the hard drive as it was getting pretty full and possibly the reason that it's running extremely slow at the moment, the hard drive itself is probably at least 4 or 5 years old now. I'll get my old man to transfer everything to his external hdd asap. will let you know what happens	Sam Bos (12456)

1266224	2012-04-07 09:23:00	Possibly, although the PSU has been replaced at some stage too, they bought it from the PC Company back in 2001, all that's left of the original PC is the case, everything else has been replaced. I've got another BlueScreen Log here, this one is from my mum's newish laptop (bought April last year). She said all of a sudden it's started blue-screening lately. 1266225	2012-04-07 10:27:00	I think its time to replace the hdd, since that 0x00000024 stop error is still appearing. Iastor.sys is crashing. I would run tdsskiller on it. It looks like malware (maybe a rootkit) can crash iaStor.sys (support.kaspersky.com). Uninstall Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver and install the latest version. The one thats installed is outdated / old (downloadcenter.intel.com). What version of the chipset drivers did you install? I found that I had to install 9.2 of the chipset drivers for Intel Matrix Storage Manager to work. Even tho 9.3 of the chipset drivers are available. I take it, this uses Intel chipset drivers? Do you have the XP cd (This is CP isnt it)?? You may have to repair the mbr. But I think you have to install the recovery console.	Speedy Gonzales (78)

Are you talking about the first log (the Desktop PC) now or the second (the laptop)? If you're talking about the second log (the new laptop which is running Windows 7), seems strange the hdd already needs replacing, it's barely a year old. I have run tdsskiller just now but it didn't pick up anything. And the Intel Rapid Storage Technology program is version 9.5.0.1037, is that what you meant?
