1265554 2012-03-17 23:31:00 HI all

I'm doing a swing migration from SBS2003 to SBS2011 this weekend and it's not Sunday PM and still not got email live...
The main problem was that moving mailboxes over took over 36 hours for 50gigs (!) and that finished and I thought yes! On to the public folder move and then email.
However moving the public folders also seems to be taking forever. I read that it can take hours/days to move, even though we don't use public folders (but was advised to move them anyway).

Anyway my questions: can i go on and hook the new sbs2011 box (with attached tempdc) to the internet while the public folder move is going on, or do I really need to wait for the public folders to move first? Could be a long night...

Cheers

50 or so. It's made some progress, most of the Public Folders have now left Public Folder Instances but it seems to be stuck on "exchange v1" now...as you can imagine I just want to get it all connected back and up and working before people come to work tomorrow :)
