| 6109 | 2000-08-31 06:38:00 | Please Help, I have been downloading some PDF files from central and local government organisations websites into a dedicated directory I set up on my hard disk, but cannot open them in that format or convert them to another format, when I try to change the file type or filename extension the conversion freezes or I get another version of it that I still cannot view any data (just a blank proforma) or a page of line code that is not readable (to a non-programmer like me). Do I need a special utility to convert PDF files to MSWord or Word Perfect format or am I not selecting the right option(s) when I download them ? I am sure their is an easy solution to this frustrating problem and any assistance will be greatly appreciated. |
