I had a tower built with a PIII 667, 10gb Hdd and 64Mb PCram. I installed Win 95 and susequently a copy of win Me. After having problems with the intallation of ME ie missing files and incomplete installation I uninstalled it and returned to the original configuration of Win 95, although ME did leave some residue of itself in the form of ME folders and desktop. I then configured the internet connections and downloaded my email. My problem is that the computer freezes as soon as I hang up the modem and I have to reboot to get back into the system,. Can someone please help me with a solution other than having to pay for a reformat of the hard drive and a reinsallation of Win 95. |
