6282	2000-09-10 01:59:00	I am having difficulies with programmes (specifically but not totally limited to Excel 97)cutting out without reason for an 'illegal operation'. The problem happens most with Excel when I am using large file spreadsheets (6Meg+). I have spoken to Microsoft who advised me to progressively kill of all the programmes on the <Cont><Alt><Delete> Menu starting with Fastfind. I have now only got Nortons AV and Sced running and it still happens! I have just upgraded to Win 98 SE, which Microsoft didn't think was relevant, and it has not changed anything. Is the problem the file size? I am running a Celeron 400 with 64 Meg of Ram, and about 900M of spare space on my C Drive. Any assistance would be appreciated, but if involves major changes to Reg files etc, please talk slowly in words of one syllable! Regards Graham Bockett	Guest (0)
