Hi, I recently bought a H.P.5300c scanjet. Installed exactly as instructed however the cpu cannot find the scanner.(parallel port).I have been right through the help and found the bias was set spp instead of epp or ecp, still no go.Deinstalled as per H.P.s 32 step uninstal and reinstalled (by another person more knowledgable),same result.The scanning light goes but the scanner and the 930c deskjet daisy chained off it doesn't because the cpu cannot see the scanner..Any help would be appreciated.
