I have two hard drives (Master and Master in two IDE outlets) they are both Master because I can't find the jumpers. Anyway, the worked well for a few months, but now when I boot, the Boot Drive (fixed disk 0) spins up nicely but drive D: (fixed disk one) does not. It goes Rurrrrurrrrrrrruurrrrrrrurrrrrruurrrrrr
while the BIOS sais 'Failure fixed disk 1' and hangs. After about five minutes, it starts to spin and my machine boots, but what am I to do? I have important stuff on that drive and no media to back up to. |
