I have an external IDE hard drive (which I bought to use for backup) with a USB connection. When I first plugged it in it worked first time (no drivers come with it). After a couple of times it stopped working. The drive letter is still reserved but I cannot see the drive. I took the PC back to the suppliers and they put it right but after a couple more plug-ins it stopped working again. The suppliers say that the drive is installing multiple drivers and that I must delete these. How? And how do I stop the problem occuring? Any help would be very much appreciated. |
