| 6302 | 2000-09-11 03:48:00 | I am experiencing a fatal exception OE in VXD VCACHE(01) blah blah which appears to be related to 1 game on my system. It only occurs if I attempt to restart the PC after playing this game! Microsoft has nothing on this except that vcache.vxd is on the 98 second edition CD so I need to know if my thinking is correct on this. This VXD is related to the video subsystem in some way? Is it a VXD that handles the videocaching? Is it possibly related to my AGP apeture settings in the BIOS? So if the above is all correct it would appear to be some sort of Bug in the games video handling routines? Thanks for any help on this one. Its not a major as I can live with it if I have to (the game is well worth the one little hassle!) but it would be nice to understand it a bit better as I may with more info be able to sort it myself in some way. |
