I have purchased a USB peer to peer network pack from a company called Entrega. Installation was pretty simple and drag and drop transfer of single files works OK. But.. I went to use this to backup my notebook to my desktop and found that it hangs up after a few minutes of file transfer. Error message indicates a loss of communication. I reinstalled the drivers and tried again. Same result. My notebook is an Acer Celeron 300 running Win98. Desktop is a PIII 500 also running Win98.
Any suggestions as to what might be wrong? Has anyone else had experience with Entrega USB networking? |
